Andy started at YouthNet in June 2011 after completing a year’s full-time volunteering, working with young people and older people. This piqued Andy’s interest in working in the charity sector and was a resident blogger on Do-it before taking up his role as Partnerships Account Assistant.

Chris Martin
Clare Foster
Clare is Advice and Training Manager. One of her main roles is to train and support volunteers and charity partners to provide expert answers through askTheSite. She is also involved in creating accreditation opportunities with OCNLR, bringing e learning to YouthNet and improving the quality and scope of the support services we offer. She blogs personally about mental health, relationships and young people here. Prior to YouthNet, she worked as an advisor for Connexions Direct, taught environmental philosophy part time and spent ten months in Tanzania and Kenya, developing sex education and life skills with young people there.

Elena Di Antonio
Elena is our Research Manager and joined YouthNet in 2011. Elena has a strong area of expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, with a specific focus on young and hard-to-reach people. She is currently leading the research team and her role is split between carrying YouthNet’s external research and evaluating YouthNet’s projects. Elena previously worked for another charity supporting young people to start their own business.

Emma Motherwell
Emma is currently on maternity leave. Emma is Head of Marketing, Communications & Research. She joined YouthNet in January 2011 after several years managing the external and internal communications and campaigns for a London borough. Emma Rubach
Emma heads YouthNet's Editorial Team and is responsible for overseeing the content strategy for our websites. She joined YouthNet in 2008, following a stint as an outreach journalist with young people for youth charity Headliners. Before that, Emma freelanced for newspapers and magazines including The Big Issue, The Independent and The Sunday Times.

Helen Williams
Helen is Engagement and Support Manager. She joined YouthNet as a volunteer editorial assistant back in 2003 and was recruited to the operations team in 2005. Starting out in journalism, her interest expanded to online communities very quickly, inspired by TheSite.org's young people. She also volunteers her time to help other youth orgs, is fanatical about poetry and is an out and out Londoner.

She sources experts for monthly guest chats and also enjoys getting involved with technical developments on TheSite.

Laura is the Volunteering Development Manager. She joined YouthNet in 2009 and managed the Lifetracks volunteering programme, funded by Vodafone and v. As part of her role Laura now manages volunteers and supports them to work towards accreditation. She also supports other YouthNet staff to manage volunteers. Prior to joining YouthNet Laura worked on a youth volunteering project at Volunteer Centre Westminster and can be found volunteering in her spare time at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Ollie Drackford is currently interim Head of Marcoms at YouthNet. He works on spreading the good word about our services to those who need them; building up awareness and reach amongst our 16 -25 year old audience through both digital and offline means. Ollie loves a brew.. infact legend has it that he is actual more tea than man?!

Olly is Head of Do-it, responsible for the development of Do-it, the UK's national volunteering database. He joined YouthNet in 2008 as maternity cover for the Editorial Manager. Prior to YouthNet, he worked at another charity, Headliners, and before that he was at the BBC for seven years.

Sean is also Policy and Comms director on the board of the Young Advisors charity, having previously been Chair. He can often be found on trains or at protests, occasionally with a megaphone.
