Competition information

TheSite.org has teamed up with a national broadsheet newspaper to offer the winner of our competition one week's work experience at the newspaper's offices in London.

To win the chance to develop your journalistic skills and boost your bylines, all you need to do is submit your best piece of published work. This could be any form of journalism: a feature, news article, match report, fashion spread, comment piece...whatever you think really makes you stand out.

The competition will be judged by the seminar panel of speakers and the winner will be announced after the event. Just bring your submission with you on the day (no more than two pages – please print out any online submissions), with the entry formª.

If you are not able to join us for the seminar, you can still enter! Either email your entry to media@youthnet.org or post it to Gabriella Jozwiak, YouthNet, First Floor, 50 Featherstone Street, London EC1Y 8RT by Wednesday 3 March 2010.

The winner and runners up will also have the opportunity to be published on TheSite.org, where your work will be showcased on a national website visited by 500,000 unique users every month.
