The Olympic Volunteering Inspiration and Legacy Programme
This Inspiration and Legacy Programme will contribute to building a social legacy for the forthcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This project will create new digital avenues, enabling people inspired by the Olympics to find volunteering opportunities. It will also help organisations across England to create a volunteering legacy for the Games, particularly relating to sports, culture and the environment. The programme will be run by YouthNet and Volunteering England, with the support of the Office of the Third Sector and the Government Olympic Executive.

The Office of the Third Sector, part of the Cabinet Office, leads government work to support a thriving third sector. YouthNet and Volunteering England are strategic partners of the OTS.
Senior Volunteer Development Officers (x 2)
You'll join Volunteering England's 2012 Volunteering Development Team, which provides guidance for Volunteer Involving Organisations across the country. The team also provides basic signposting information to the public, focusing on harnessing the excitement of the Olympics as a route to volunteer opportunities. You will provide day to day management of one of three geographical patches across England to deliver advice on developing opportunities to volunteer inspired by the Olympics.

Partnerships Assistant (part time role)
This is a great way to learn about the voluntary and community sector. As a part time officer (14 hrs per week) you'll work closely with organisations that participate in the National Volunteer Database published through do-it.org.uk.
It is essential you have experience in financial administration, a proven track record in successful account management and experience in youth participation and volunteering.
Marketing Officer - Lifetracks
Funded by the Vodafone Foundation, Lifetracks is an exciting new programme that empowers and supports 16 to 25 year-olds to make informed choices about learning, training and work.
You'll use a wide range of online and offline marketing tools to promote the Lifetracks programme – while behind the scenes, you'll be building excellent relationships with partners, funders, suppliers and young people to ensure our messages have real impact.
A creative self-starter with initiative and drive, you should have experience of planning and implementing successful online and offline marketing activity. Excellent communication skills are essential, and you must be a flexible, proactive team player.
