The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust
The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust has pledged to award YouthNet £200,000 towards our marketing activities, aimed at increasing the number of visitors to TheSite.org.
"Helping more young people discover TheSite.org"
Currently, TheSite.org receives an average of 500,000 visitors every month. With the support of The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust, we aim to increase this to 830,000. This generous grant is being used for marketing activities that we would not otherwise be able to carry out, including our brand new viral game Turf War, which was launched in January 2008. Other activities include postcard promotions in universities and cinemas, radio coverage, reciprocal website links and content syndication with youth-focused organisations, as well as new advertising banners for mobile websites.
We are extremely grateful to Peter De Haan and his fellow Trustees for all their support, which is helping more young people discover TheSite.org's unique blend of information, advice and support.
"The number of visitors to TheSite.org is impressive, but currently only represents a relatively small percentage of the number of young people aged 16-24 in the UK. By supporting YouthNet's marketing activities, we want to ensure that more young people can benefit from the online services the charity provides," Peter De Haan.
