We’re looking for an expert multimedia producer with a passion for supporting young people to develop their own content.
As YouthNet’s multimedia expert, you’ll understand what makes young people want to watch and share your work and how to get under their skin with top-quality information and support content, including emotionally compelling short films.
Ideally you’ll have two or three years’ experience producing films, infographics, audio and social media-friendly content, plus a good understanding of how to manage a YouTube channel. You’ll also be sympathetic to YouthNet’s aim to inform and support 16-25 year olds in the UK, whatever the issue, without judgement.
Our ambition over the next year is to develop a fleet of young vloggers who will anchor TheSite.org’s YouTube channel yet still allow us to continue to push up subscribers and views with high-quality content. So you’ll need to be a supportive and proactive manager of others, able to identify and work with up-and-coming talent and cope with the admin and organisation this takes.
About this role
You’ll work across all YouthNet’s channels and platforms, with a focus on our flagship engagement and support site www.thesite.org and corresponding YouTube channel. Some of your time will be dedicated to supporting other teams with content requirements.
This 12-month, fixed term, full-time role and will sit in the content team, reporting to the Head of Content.
