The Senior Development Manager’s role in the organisation is to maximise YouthNet’s income in line with the overall organisational strategy.
In this role you will personally win and develop long term relationships, build networks and work with key stakeholders to create links with potential partners. Additionally you will work closely with existing partners in order to maximise income.
As part of a Development Team of 5, you will steward donors to maximise the value of each supporter, providing opportunities for donors to become closer to the cause and become passionate about our work. You will develop programme specific expenditure budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong financial management, and have ownership of annual income targets. This role is primarily responsible for Trust, Government and EU funding but as part of a small team you will also raise income from corporates.
The right candidate will have excellent relationship building and management skills, a solid and demonstrable record of fundraising successes and know how to communicate a great story to potential funders and partners.
