Respect. Do you get enough? Over 80% of young people believe the way they are portrayed leads to older people respecting them less. Support the call to change this negative representation.
Actively listening to young people, empowering them to speak out and working with them to take action on the issues that they say affect them are key to YouthNet's mission. We aim to engage and inspire young people, earn their trust and respect and support them with empathy as they seek out their place in the world.
This section highlights the work of our Respect? campaign, which challenges the negative representation of young people in the media, by politicians and other older people. Support our call to urge MPs to sign an Early Day Motion (EDM) to acknowledge that only a small minority of young people are antisocial.
