Oracle Corporation UK Ltd

Our partnership

Since 1996, Oracle has supported YouthNet by donating their database software, along with full technical support.  Over time YouthNet has grown and developed, and the need for a scalable, secure technical platform is now more important than ever to support our services. To meet this increased need, Oracle now donate their 11g database, with a value to YouthNet of £1.8million. This ensures that YouthNet has the technical infrastructure to deliver our services to thousands of young people and volunteers every month.

Steve Lamb, Strategic Director of Oracle Corporation UK says:

“This gift-in-kind donation will give YouthNet the robust, scalable platform that it needs to deliver ground-breaking projects for young people, and it comes with the good wishes and support of Oracle UK Corporation’s senior management team.”

Can you help with gifts-in-kind?

Gifts-in-kind (non-cash donations from individuals or companies) like Oracle’s make a huge difference to YouthNet’s ability to achieve our mission.

As one of the UK’s first virtual charities we rely entirely on technology to deliver our services. Perhaps your company can provide technical systems and insight to help us engage, support and inspire more young people?

Useful donations aren’t just limited to technology. Prizes for the polls and surveys we run on TheSite.org and donations of online and offline space to promote our work are at the top of our wishlist too.

If you think you can help we’d like to talk to you – contact us or call the Development Team on 020 7250 5700.
